  1/4/00 272.5       1-4 Storyboarding covered in my first meeting - I have decided to focus on losing that first 10%. Prepaid 9 weeks since they didn't mention a 12 week plan - big commitment!
1 1/11/00 267 -5.50 -5.5 -5.5 1-11 Excited about the results of my first week! I am very happy that I stayed within points all week but I have only exercised twice in the past two weeks and I want to do more.
2 1/18/00 265.75 -1.25 -6.75 -3.4 1-18 Honestly, a little disappointed since I expected the first TWO weeks to show big losses, it can't be slowing down already?? I will double check my food journals and be sure I am counting points correctly.
1-24 Pleased that I completed the week working out 5 days out of 7.
3 1/25/00 260 -5.75 -12.5 -4.2 1-25 Wow, last week was good, can't believe I lost so much! I figure a couple of those pounds were "owed" to me from the previous week.
1-30 Been struggling all week with getting enough points, just too full most days- never thought that would happen! Exercised 6 days!
4 2/1/00 260.25 +.25 -12.25 -3.1 2-1 Disappointing to have gained since I was sooo good last week. I think that eating under minimum was not a good thing... but don't get disappointed since down 12.25 since starting - doing great!!
2-7 Frustrated since schedule change means I can't do water aerobics as often. Exercised 3X this week. I am going through a tough time, thank goodness for all the support I am getting from S.O. and WW forum.
5 2/8/00 256.75 -3.50 -15.75 -3.2 2-8 Yippee! Down 15.75 in total so far.
2-14 Only managed to get 2 days of exercise in... but need to focus on good food habits during times of struggle, can't do everything sometimes.
6 2/15/00 254.25 -2.50 -18.25 -3.0 2-15 Hungry toward the end of the week... went over 2 days but had enough banked points this week... worried since going to Disneyland on Monday and will miss Tuesday weigh in.
7 2/22/00 -- -- -- -- No meeting - in Disneyland! Used banked points to handle the restaurant meals, but I still wound up going over by on two days. Travel is a real challenge for me.....
I got a lot of exercise in Disneyland since I must have walked 5 miles a day plus worked out 2 days.
8 2/29/00 247.7 -6.50 -24.75 -3.1 2-29 Very pleasantly surprised to have such a good 2 week loss! Down 24.7 in total, just 3 pounds to my 10% goal!!!!!! This is feeling very real
3-5 Hurt my leg in a hiking accident- swollen and painful due to bruising and broken blood vessels- so no exercise for the remainder of the week.
9 3/7/00 250 +2.25 -22.5 -2.5 3-7 Not sure why the big increase - could it be fluid retention in my fat leg?
10 3/14/00 247.5 -2.5 -25 -2.5 3-14 Earned 25# magnet today! I really need this since I have been so discouraged about the ongoing hassles with my leg. Totally off on activity... feeling bummed. But when I got the magnet, I looked at it and just knew I had come too far to turn back.
11 3/21/00 244 -3.5 -28.5 -2.6 3-21 YIPPEEEEEE!!!!! Hit my 10% with a little to spare. I have been so focused on this goal, I am just delighted to have earned my keychain this week
12 3/28/00 244 0 -28.5 -2.4 3-26 Has been a rough week... going over points every day, but at least I am journalizing. I have lost my 10%, but honestly, I barely notice the difference.
3-28 Relieved to stay the same this week! I am not sure why this week was so difficult.
13 4/4/00 242 -2.0 -30.5 -2.3 4-2 It's Sunday, and so far I have been totally back on track and in control. I also looked at some records from last year and realized that the weight I have lost since January was weight I gained during the last six months of 1999. No wonder I don't notice it much.... I didn't really notice when I gained it either. My leg is finally a bit better, so I am resuming exercise again. I worked hard to set my next goal, which I think was part of my problem last week, feeling directionless. Whether I lose or gain this week, I know it has been a good week!
I decided to add the total lost and the weekly average column since I tend to lose sight of just how well I am doing sometimes!
14 4/11/00 240.5 -1.5 -32 -2.3 4-11 Went to weigh in and found they cancelled our meeting due to lack of staff. Weigh in only.
15 4/21/00 240 -.5 -32.5 -2.2 4-21 Tried to go to a new meeting time, but got busy at work and didn't make it. Went to "express" weigh in only so this is the second week without a meeting. That is not a good thing since I think the meetings are very important. Still relying on my online friends for support on the weight watchers forum.
16   243.5 +3.5 29 -1.8 Big gain! Yikes! I really haven't done that well lately. I am feeling kinda bored, kinda lack focus. Seems like I have been tempted by sweets a lot. A little here, a little there, is really adding up.
17 5/1/00 242.5 -1 30 -1.8 Found my new permanent meeting home! I really like this leader and her enthusiasm is contagious. I bought the "Simply the Best" cookbook since I really need some new food ideas. I am determined to stay focused! I really want to see the 230's on that scale soon!
18 5/9/00 240 -2.5 32.5 -1.8 5-9  I am so very happy to be back on track.  Was a little worried since overdid it at the Mariner's game and a couple of big meals out.  I did a good job of banking points for those events though, guess it paid off!
